If you grew up in a small town like Belle Plaine you probably longed for the day you could up and leave the state. Maybe you moved to New York, had a short stint in Florida, or did some time in California. Heck, you could've just visited and realized that folks in the Midwest are just made different.

Whether it's better, who can say -- all I know is a person can only endure so many cars ignoring your farmer wave before you start to realize you are in fact, Midwest made.
